Die Olivenölproduktion hat auf Kreta eine lange Tradition. Viele Familien stellen Olivenöl für ihren Eigenverbrauch her. Die Arbeit ist hart. Denn die Olivenbäume müssen regelmäßig und individuell geschnitten werden. Und die Ernte erfolgt mühsam per Hand. Doch der Lohn für die harte Arbeit kann sich sehen und vor allem schmecken lassen: ein erstklassiges, mit Liebe und Sorgfalt hergestelltes, natürliches und ursprüngliches Produkt.

The olives, the fruits of the carob tree and the herbs for the Kredeli products are harvested in the Sitia region in eastern Crete. The powerful sun, the wonderful sea air and traditional, sustainable cultivation - these are the ingredients for the outstanding Kredeli quality.
Olive oil production has a long tradition on Crete. Many families produce olive oil for their own consumption. The work is hard. Because the olive trees have to be pruned regularly and individually. And the harvest is laboriously done by hand. But the reward for the hard work can be seen and, above all, tasted: a first-class product, made with love and care, natural and original.
The small Cretan farmers often lack the sales opportunity. Oil that is not needed for themselfes remains in the oil mills, where it is mixed with oil from other producers and sold to large companies. But the single-variety olive oil is of an unmistakable quality. And that is distributed by Kredeli. Because we connect people and passions - with first-class products.
